“Digital Art: Prints & Papergoods”
Handmade in Royal Oak, Michigan
Hi there. I’m artgirl, but my friends call me Linda. I live in a lovely little city with my two kittens, Miriam & Olivia, who love to watch me sew (as long as I sometimes make things that contain catnip). I went to art school at the International Academy of Design in Tampa, FL and then Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. During the day, I’m the Marketing Director and graphic designer for a small company in Metro Detroit. I’ve always loved art and have been coloring inside the lines and thinking outside of the box since I was little. I absolutely appreciate all things creative and can’t wait to see what’s in store for me next.
Currently my fave things are: typography, bright colors, vintage images, juxtaposition, collage, decoupage, botanical prints, funky patterns, chevron, monoprints, inspiring quotes, Nevelson, pastels, buttons, gold leaf, Hipstamatic prints, tulle, tissue paper poms, Goldsworthy, garland, porcelain clay, Lichtenstein, raku pottery, triptychs, crystalline glazes, ruffles & ribbons and so many other things…
My work is printed on professional inkjet and fine art paper using Canon ChromaLife100 ink. ChromaLife100 inks are formulated to resist real world conditions that cause photos and prints to fade.
My printed products are professionally packaged in archival quality protective closure sleeves. All art prints include a 4-ply white archival backing board.
